Guided Fly fishing trips for red fish in Louisiana are all about the hunt and good casting. They are without a doubt my favorite fish to pursue. Louisiana red fish love to eat and they seem to have an attitude when doing so. They are favored to be one of the easier saltwater fish to catch on a fly rod, only because they offer the angler multiple shots if needed. Make no mistake, the fly still needs to be in the zone for the magic to happen. Red fish can be caught as far as you can cast to right up next to the boat. The faster you can lay it down accurately the more success you will have. Practicing before a trip is a must and will help you achieve holding that golden bull. Messing up shots is how you learn and rest assured I don't expect perfection. What you can expect is my patience and encouragement. I love seeing a red fish decide to eat a fly and I think you will too.
